IT Master Plan (ITMP) or often also referred to as IT Strategy or IT Strategic Plan is an IT master plan that supports the organization's business strategy in the long term. The IT Master Plan contains a portfolio of IT-related initiatives or work programs along with a roadmap for IT improvement implementation (IT Roadmap) that can help achieve the Organization's business goals over the next few years, generally 3-5 years. The existence of the IT Master Plan document is increasingly critical, especially for organizations that are implementing Digital Transformation.

In the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of SOEs (BUMN) for 2020-2024, there are 5 priorities for the Ministry of SOEs, which is Economic & Social Value for Indonesia, Business Model Innovation, Technology Leadership, Boosting Investment and Talent Development.

To be able to realize the 5 Priorities of the Ministry of SOEs, every BUMN needs to carry out digital transformation in the implementation of its business processes as outlined in the IT Master Plan.
