IT Master Plan (ITMP) or often also referred to as IT Strategy or IT Strategic Plan is an IT master plan that supports the organization's business strategy in the long term. The IT Master Plan contains a portfolio of IT-related initiatives or work programs along with a roadmap for IT improvement implementation (IT Roadmap) that can help achieve the Organization's business goals over the next few years, generally 3-5 years.
